Week three #78daysofsummer

Jun 28, 2015 | French Mango at Home, Life

Tuesday marked the end of our third week of holidays and I can honestly say that the last few days have been a bumpy ride.

We have had to deal with two tornado threats in the same day C was flying to London. I have had to try and lift the mood of a very homesick child (who would have thought after almost a year), while my other child has been totally unreasonable, teary and grumpy for no other reason than being tired (or maybe having had enough of me!).

Yesterday, all of us cried and had tantrums. Yep.

When I start considering homeschooling again, can someone remind me of the effect 24/7 has on our relationship?!

But all this aside the last week has had its lot of good moments, very good ones even.

We caught up with a really good friend in Chicago and celebrated the first anniversary of visiting that beach for the first time.
